In Strategic Focus,
we have both in-house qualitative and quantitative
research capabilities and expertise.
Qualitative Research
We have available
in our office two viewing rooms, both with viewing
facilities via one-way mirror and fully equipped
with audio and video recording for focus group
and in-depth interviews. Our associates' offices
in China, Taiwan and other Asian markets are also
fully equipped with focus group facilities.
Quantitative
Research
Our associates'
offices in China, Taiwan and other Asian markets
are also fully equipped with focus group facilities.
Quality control is managed by a separate team
of quality controllers to ensure objectivity in
results.
Sample design is
done in accordance with statistical methodology,
particularly in the area of random sampling where
we follow a professional and well-organized sampling
frame based on the latest release of the appropriate
Population Census.
The above procedures
for quantitative research are strictly and consistently
applied in China, Taiwan and other Asian markets.
Research Software
Data processing
is done in-house in Strategic Focus using either
MICROQUEST -- a powerful cross tabulation software
developed by Quest Analysis in the U.K. or SPSS.
We also conduct Multivariate Analysis in-house
using a Multi-Dimensional Package (PC-MDS) developed
by Dr. Scott Smith of Brigham Young University.
